Amina is one of the female matriarchs in the Watamu area. She has had two calves while we have been sighting her every year. She is often seen with her calf feeding in family pods of up to 50 dolphins. She associates with Penda, Makena and Zahara. We believe that she is an important dolphin in Watamu who is responsible locating feeding areas for the dolphin pods. .
