Nkasiogo associates with a male dolphin alliance who are not normally seen regularly in Watamu every season. We believe he has a larger home range and travels along, at least the north Kenyan coast looking for mating and feeding opportunities. Nkasiogo has become even more well notched on his dorsal over time as he gradually loses more of his fin. Wear and tear of dorsal fins, especially with males is very obvious with our Watamu dolphins, probably because of their competitive aggressive behaviour.
